Very Reliable! Just make sure to follow instructions! Excellent and Accurate!!! The 5 minute cassette was on point and very accurate as well as the swab testing in my case. The results from the lab showed very at least 3 types of mold growth; one of which was a zero tolerance indoor mold and highly toxic, along the others being toxic as well .I highly recommend this kit! I would prefer the lab analysis either cost a little less or show actual mold spore counts.

I used this kit at a rental studio I have and very easy to test. Luckily it did not discover any mold. I still wanted to be sure and sent a sample swab to the lab in the package and paid $29 i think and they ran extensive test. I recently flooded a little in my basement and I cleaned and dried the area myself. A month went by and I started to get a musty smell. I went to my local Ace store to see if they had anything that would get rid of the odor and they told me to first test to see if I had any mold. They sold me the 5-Minute Mold test and I went home and performed the test. Very easy and I didn’t even have to see the mold. Like the test says, in about 5-10 minutes the test showed I had black mold so cut away the drywall in the area that flooded and sure enough, there was the mold inside the wall. Very impressed at the sensitivity of the test to find mold in my wall. Recommend this test over spending a fortune hiring someone to do the same thing.
